Dr. Raphael Paisner

Dr. Raphael Paisner was born in North Carolina, but quickly escaped to New York where he grew up in Queens, and then North Woodmere on Long Island.  After attending SUNY-Binghamton (now called Binghamton University), he went on to medical school at SUNY Health and Science Center at Brooklyn (Downstate).  He went on to a pediatric residency at the Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and then joined Dr. Edward Rigtrup’s Montclair Pediatrics practice in 1987.  In the office, Dr. Paisner enjoys teaching both residents and parents and particularly enjoys the many priceless observations of his patients.  Outside of the office, Raph enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult children, and photography.

Dr. Yvonne Hung

Dr. Yvonne Hung was born in New Jersey, and grew up in West Orange, graduating from West Orange High School in 1989.  She went on to attend Boston University, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Biology.  Dr. Hung returned to New Jersey to attend medical school at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ.  She then completed her pediatric residency at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.  Dr. Hung joined Montclair Pediatrics in 2001, and has enjoyed forming relationships with families in the community over the years.  She currently lives in her hometown of West Orange with her husband and three active children, who she tries very hard to keep up with when she is not in the office!  Dr. Hung is involved with the PTA at her children’s school and loves to watch them play sports.

Dr. Allison Sopko

Dr. Sopko graduated cum laude from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a B.S. in Biology.  She received her medical doctorate with honors from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, where she was honored with the Rudy F. Sievers, M.D., Ph.D. Service Award and the Dr. Susan V. Atchley Community Service Award, both bestowed for her dedication to the ethical practice of medicine and her outstanding service to the greater community.  During medical school, she was an active member of the Phi Medical Fraternity, one of the oldest and largest international medical fraternities.  Dr. Sopko completed her residency in pediatrics at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, NJ, part of the Atlantic Health System. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Sopko is excited to continue practicing in her home state.
